We strive to keep the effort alive in helping the Nation's Wounded Warriors. Project Enduring Pride seeks challenging events to mature support to our programs. Our future events include: concerts, sports events, cooks outs, and special tours. This is a dynamic list and is updated quarterly. Enduring Pride needs your help in donations and event sponsorship. Donations and event sponsorship may be made during events or sent to Project Enduring Pride. All donations and event sponsorships are tax deductible.
We at Enduring Pride are dedicated to keeping the community support alive for our nation’s Wounded Warriors. With the assistance of the professional hospital staff on the wards or at the Mologne House we have been achieving success for the last five years. We seek challenging and new events for the Wounded Warrior population each year with in our donated funds budget.
After five years we are known in many quarters of the military hospital environment from senior leadership down to the technicians on the wards.
This year we added as an event meeting many of the wounded shortly after their arrival and with the consent of the service member or family; perhaps even both. At the initial meeting each wounded warrior receives our custom design Purple Heart challenge coin with the words, “Let them top this”.
With your help and assistance, 2012 will be a banner year of excitement and achievement. Please plan on helping us and attending several of the events in your community.Here is our plan:
February 5, 2012 - Superbowl Partyon the Campus of Walter Reed, Bethesda.
March 16, 2012- PEP sponsored Special Operations Command - St Patrick Reunion in Bethesda at the Harp and Fiddle.
April 24, 2012 - NRA Indoor Range Shoot for WW. Conducted at NRA, Fairfax, VA. Noon until 4pm, lunch provided.
May 12, 2012 - National Wounded Warrior & Amputee Kayak Race. A middle distance event co-hosted by the USOC Paralympic and River Runners of greater Washington DC. All WW and military amputee are eligible to participate.
May 24, 2012 - PEP and Ranger Association WW Memorial Weekend BBQ.
June 17, 2012 - 4th Annual Fairfax County Firehouse BBQ hosted by Fire Company 30, downtown Merrifield, Virginia.
July 4th, 2012 - City of Fairfax Independence Day Parade and VFW BBQ. Theme this year, "A salute to Iraqi Veterans; welcome home, a job well done". Troops, WW, and OIF color vehicles, HUMVEES from Navy CB's; LMTV from Army Reserve; a Engineering Vehicle; and open top double decker tour bus for family members.
July 9th, 2012 - Annual DC Fireboat Cruise and BBQ.
August 4, 2012 - Baltimore FD and Fire Boat Team at Fort McHenry.
August 11, 2012 - Annual Baltimore Fireboat Cruise in the Inner Harbor and BBQ hosted by Fireboat One.
September 2012 - Country Club Gold Tournament for WW. Foursomes for 18 holes of golf, followed by evening dinner and silent auction for WW. 10am until 7pm.
September - October, 2012 - WW Country Club Golf Tournament in Fairfax, Virginia
November 11, 2012 - at Summit Point Race Track, SCCA and Ferrari Owner Club of American, "Warrior Drive and Ride"
